Couture, markaların en iyi işçiliklerini gösterdikleri ve en ince detayları düşündükleri koleksiyonlardır. Bu nedenle gelecek sezon için yapacağınız alışverişlerde couture trendlerinden fikir almak çok faydalı olacak diye düşünüyorum.

Jilsander'ı tasarlayan Raf Simmons'ın elinden çıkan Christian Dior'un couture koleksiyonu tek kelimeyle harika ! Galliano'nun sağ kolu olan Bill Gayton maalesef Dior'un "New Look" ruhunu iyi yansıtamıyordu. Fakat Simmons, Dior'un "New Look"unu çok iyi analiz etmiş ve doğru styling ile 2012'ye 50'lerin ruhu çok iyi bir şekilde taşımış. Simmons'ın görmeye alıştığımız keskin hatları ve sanatsal inceliği de yine styling ile ortaya çıkmış durumda. Simmons'ın da aslında tarzı ve tasarım anlayışından fazla ödün vermediği koleksiyon Dior'a 50'lerdeki yeni, farklı ve canlı ruhunu geri getirmiş.
Jilsander's ex-designer Raf Simmons did a wonderful job in Couture collection of Dior's. Previously, Bill Gayton( assistant of Galliano) was designing the brand's couture collection and the result was a soulless 50s hence the New Look-the signiture style of Dior- didn't even work out. With the up-to-date styling 50's could actually work. In Simmons' collection it is visibly seen that the designer analyzed brand's own signiture designs very well. Actually, Simmons didn't really compromised from his sense of style and design so the Couture collection became a success for both of the sides( the brand and the designer).
