PARIS FW : COMME DES GARÇONS 2012

Paris'i en son couture koleksiyonlarında bıraktık ve şimdi 2012 bahar hazır giyim koleksiyonları için başladığımız yere geri döndük. Comme des Garçons benim sevdiğim bir marka adının anlamı gibi (like boys- erkekler gibi) maskülen çizgileri tercih eden bir marka olmasına rağmen bu yıl hazır giyimde Rei Kawakubo beni şaşırttı. Japonya için önemli bir tasarımcı olan Rei Kawakubo işlerini aynı zamanda Paris'ten yürütüyor. Kawakubo daha çok serbest çağrışım ile çalışıyor. Model ve kumaş ile doğaçlama çalışır, çizim yapmaz. Japon modasını büyük ölçüde talebini arttıran bir marka olan Comme des Garçons bu yıl çılgın gelinleri konu almış sanırım. Müşteri olarak beni kaybettiler o kesin(çünkü giyilebilir değiller-couture olsa anlarım). Benim estetiğimle uyuşmuyor fakat yüzü duvaklı gelinler, deli gömleğini andıran kollar var. Tüm koleksiyon beyaz. İşlemeler biraz Doğu kültürünü hissettiriyor. Dramatik ve şov odaklı bir enerji veriyor bu şov, hazır giyim olarak değil de daha sanatsal bir perspektifden bakın biraz couture öğelerine kaçılmış.

We are now where we started: Paris. After the couture week, now we are facing with the 2012 Spring collections from Paris-based designers. To start with I chose Comme Des Garçons( Like Boys). The brand like its name usually go with the masculen lines and different fabrics but Rei Kawakubo surprised me. She is pretty important for Japan in terms of a fashion designer. She also designs at Paris,too. As far as I know she doesn't draw while designing, she just gets the fabric and mannequin and works like that: what pops up that moment. We have crazy brides this season which is not my aesthetic at all when it comes to ready-to-wear. If it was couture I could accept that, but these are not wearable. The bridal collection has some details from Orient and the whole collection is white, the symbol of purity. The show is dramatic and has a message in it so an artistic vision or perspective needed to understand what this collection means.
